Between the Eucalyptus and Coffee Trees - Miriam Vieira
People often use bikes as a way of moving around but in Brazil it is often dangerous to use a bike in town. Riding a bike for us is maybe a way to run away from the cities, run away from the chaos, and to be more in touch with nature.
For me it is also a challenge, it is a way to get in touch with my limits and overcome them.
How does it connect me to Porty? My first time back on a bike after 20 years was in Porty. I thought I wasn’t able to cycle anymore after having been overweight for so long but I did cycle again in Porty with Jennifer.
The seed was planted and that day changed everything.
Now I am a cyclist.
